Menorca
13–16 September 2027
Forty years feels like a milestone worth marking properly. So we're heading to Menorca for a few days of masterpieces, salt water, long lunches, late nights and the company of some of my favourite people.
The Estate
Our home for the celebration is Sant Joan de Binissaida, a restored 18th-century estate overlooking Mahón harbour. With just fifteen rooms, a swimming pool, olive groves and lavender gardens stretching in every direction, it feels more like a private Mediterranean residence than a hotel. For four days, we'll have complete run of the place.
Programme
A few plans, plenty of free time and a healthy disregard for urgency.
Monday
13 September
Arrivals. Aperitifs. Dinner.
The only item on the agenda is arriving.
Tuesday
14 September
Boats. Beaches. Bebidas.
Research suggests this may be a highlight.
Wednesday
15 September
Art. Lunch. Wine.
Not necessarily in that order.
Thursday
16 September
Coffee. Goodbyes. Gate numbers.
Back to reality.
The Island
A weekend map of the places in play. Tap each numbered stop for the plan.
1 / Binissaida
Arrivals, pool, long lunches and home base for the weekend.
